On the way to the hospital, I could feel the fear beckoning. How did we get here? Why is this happening, Lord? Is she going to be okay? 

My little girl had only been ill for a day. But what we thought was a tummy bug, turned into an emergency surgery. Pale and limp, with a raging temperature, she was deteriorating quickly. It was determined she would need her appendix out and I called my husband to meet us at the hospital. My heart was racing.
